If
you've changed the oil even once on your small gas engine you know how
incovenient and messy it is. Most gas engines are designed where you
pull a plug and let the oil drain out, often onto a steel plate that
the engine is mounted to or by tipping the engine and letting it drain
onto the ground or cement. You then have to soak up as much oil
as you can. That is IF you are environmentally conscious. If you
aren't you let it soak into the ground and leave it to mother nature to
deal with causing many environmental issues. Finally, an easy solution, one that saves time and even helps you save the environment! - Hose simply screws into the drain port in your engine.
- Unhook the drain end from the retainer loop, remove endcap and drain oil into receptacle.
- Replace endcap.
- Bend hose and place drain end in retainer loop.
When not in use, the hose is tucked out of the way and unaffected by vibration.
